As herbalists we know that there are a multitude of factors which are involved in illnesses above and beyond the straight chemistry of a condition. My published list of treatments largely ignores the emotional, intellectual, medical history, family experience or genetic history which must be taken into account, when prescribing to an individual patient, for any medical condition.
Over the years however, and after treating thousands of cases, I have identified the basic herbal combinations to be considered for each of the four hundred odd conditions named.

What I can say, based on my own experience, is that the recipes are safe at the dosages recommended, and largely free of side effects, except where they may temporarily over- stimulate a system which has been under functioning. Any such over- stimulation should be treated by temporarily reducing the dose levels which can later be built up as the digestive or circulatory system or the liver, for example, gets back up to more normal operating efficiency.
My teacher, Dorothy Hall, taught me to make up an individual mixture for each patient and to blend suitable herbs and homeopathic Bach flower remedies to treat the person as well as the medical condition, and for the first 20 years of practice I did l just that. With the internet since the 1990's, I developed a range of standard basic treatments to assist some 400 human health conditions and the personality types which most typically attract these conditions. I mail these worldwide and follow up with a report after around 6 weeks when I can discuss the response to the treatments with the individuals by mail. I then modify the mixes if required after these discussions to further direct the treatments to suit the individuals involved.
