Our devoted basset hound, Pal, was diagnosed with anal gland cancer in Nov. 2007. The cancer had already metastasized and the prognosis was that his life expectancy was about 3 months. We did our research, found Dr. McDowell, and began giving Pal his anal gland cancer serum and maritime pine bark twice daily. It's now been 2 years and 5 months! Pal has been energetic and happy. His vet calls him "the miracle dog", and says she has never, ever seen a dog with this kind of cancer live for very long, or with such a high quality of life. Although his tumors have grown slowly over all this time, he remains his usual loving and goofy self, and still walks all over town to socialize and follow his nose.
